ICT Tool write up with images.

1. Telegram

Telegram is a cloud based communicative tool which employs a number of features such as sending voice messages, files, images, audio call and video call features, group chats and many more. However, what makes telegram really outstanding is the amount of users it amasses as well as the lack of government intervention in their operation. This comes as a controversial standpoint with major government agencies viewing telegram as potentially dangerous and the users viewing it as a platform of free speech since there are no real censorship protocols which censors a certain ideology or phrases in the platform.

2. WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is a free messaging application owned by Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook), widely used for instant communication around the world. Launched in 2009, it allows users to send text messages, voice notes, images, videos, documents, and make voice and video calls over the internet. One of WhatsApp's key features is its end-to-end encryption, which ensures that only the sender and recipient can read the messages. It supports group chats and broadcast lists, making it useful for both personal and professional communication. The app also includes status updates, allowing users to share photos, videos, or text for 24 hours

3. Messenger

Messenger is a messaging app developed by Meta Platforms, originally part of Facebook. It was launched as a standalone app in 2011, allowing users to send text messages, photos, videos, voice messages, and make voice and video calls. Messenger is deeply integrated with Facebook, but users can also sign up with just a phone number. The app supports group chats, reactions, stickers, GIFs, and chat themes, making conversations more interactive and fun. It also includes features like “Watch Together” for shared video viewing.
